Every year, the Mitch Brothers (MBs) mark their birthday with more than just a celebration—they drop an artistic statement.

For MB27, the creative duo returns with something profoundly personal: a docu-drama titled “From Sefwi to Accra,” a powerful tribute to their mother, Paulina Gyabeng (affectionately known as Porna).

This year’s theme, “The toil that inspired the journey to success,” frames the story—a journey of grit, hope, and transformation inspired by Paulina’s remarkable life. At just 23, she faced heartbreak and hardship, including the loss of her mother and the destruction of her livelihood. But through it all, her focus remained on her twin boys, a commitment that became the bedrock of their creative legacy.

“Her story is at the heart of everything we do,” shares Padmond Annor. “Paulina’s strength reminds us that the hardest roads often lead to the most beautiful destinations.”

“From Sefwi to Accra” walks us through that very road—from a small Ghanaian town to the bustling city lights—capturing the essence of sacrifice, resilience, and the pursuit of purpose. Produced by Padmond Annor, directed by Padmond Annor Jr., and co-directed by Onyamepe Opoku-Agyemang, the film is as visually compelling as it is emotionally stirring.

The docu-drama also reveals the origin story of the Mitch Brothers’ creative rise, from experimenting with content to becoming pioneers in the digital space. It is a reflection on where they come from, and a beacon for where they are going.
