BBNaija Season 10 Reunion Episode 1: Thelma’s Tears, Kola’s Shots, and the End of Zita and Danboskid

on

The reunion had not been on air for five minutes before the first tears fell. By the time the episode ended, at least one ship had been officially sunk, and Kola had said something that would not be forgotten in a hurry.

The BBNaija Season 10 Reunion opened on Africa Magic with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at the helm — and wasted absolutely no time.

Thelma, Isabella, and the Big Soso Situation

The night’s first emotional flashpoint centred on Thelma, Isabella, and the Kayikunmi connection that became a talking point throughout the season. Thelma’s position was consistent — she did not owe Isabella an explanation about knowing Kayikunmi before the house. Isabella, for her part, appeared to have moved past it.

It was Big Soso who kept the fire burning. Her declaration that she had “enough money” to buy off Isabella’s drama landed poorly, and any remaining possibility of a reconciliation between her and Thelma appeared to close shut on the reunion couch. Thelma broke down. The reunion had its first tears.

Kola and Doris

Ebuka asked the question viewers had been asking all season — did Kola ever make a romantic move on Doris, or not?

Kola called the whole thing a non-factor and said he never once hinted at romance. Doris disagreed, standing by her reading of his tone and behaviour toward her. The conversation deteriorated quickly. Kola branded her “Alhaji’s meal” and said the house felt lighter the moment she was evicted. Doris did not flinch.

They did not leave that couch on good terms.

Zita and Danboskid

For everyone still wondering what happened between these two after the house — the answer was refreshingly undramatic. Lagos happened, and neither of them put in the effort. Danboskid never took Zita on a date. Zita was unbothered. No bad blood, no lingering feelings. That chapter is closed.

Mide and the Colourism Conversation

Mide used her reunion seat to address allegations of colourism head-on, firmly denying that she had ever looked down on anyone based on skin tone. Zita held her position — she picked up a condescending energy not just from Mide, but from Sabrina and Thelma as well. Mide appeared satisfied simply to have put her rebuttal on record.

Episode one made one thing clear: time has not softened much of what happened inside Biggie’s house. With more housemates still to take the hot seat, the week is far from over.

The BBNaija Season 10 Reunion continues weeknights on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family on DStv and GOtv, with all episodes available to stream on DStv Stream.
