Peller Pays Bride Price of Jarvis in Traditional Marriage Ceremony
Nigerian TikToker Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has completed the traditional marriage rites for his partner, Elizabeth Amadou Jarvis.
Peller made the announcement via his Instagram page on Friday, sharing footage from their introduction ceremony. Both families were present for the occasion, which marked the formal beginning of the couple’s journey as a traditionally recognised married pair.
In his post, Peller said: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love. A beautiful journey has officially begun, and I’m grateful to both families for their blessings. She said yes to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together. Officially off the market.”
Peller and Elizabeth, better known online by her TikTok persona Jadrolita, are among Nigeria’s most recognised content creators, with a combined following that runs into the tens of millions. The pair, who became known for their playful and comedic content together, have been the subject of widespread public interest regarding the nature of their relationship for some time. Friday’s announcement appears to have settled that question decisively.
