In his post, Adekunle Gold recounted the pivotal moment in 2014 when he wrote Sade, the song that launched his career. At the time, he was grappling with uncertainty, having recently lost his job. Despite the challenges, he chose to give his all to music—a decision he describes as life-changing.

“10 years! A journey of faith, growth, and hard work,” he began. “In 2014, I wrote Sade at one of my lowest moments. I had just lost my job, and life felt uncertain. But I made a choice to give music everything I had.”

The singer encouraged his fans to embrace their dreams with courage, regardless of fear or obstacles. “Start small, start scared, but just start,” he wrote. “Your journey is yours to own. Do it afraid, and do it with all your heart.”
