Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, has officially made his entry into the Nigerian music scene with the release of his debut extended play titled Champion’s Arrival.

The 14-year-old, who performs under the stage name Champz, surprised fans by releasing a full five-track project instead of a single, as many had expected from his earlier teasers.

The EP showcases Boluwatife’s growing confidence as an emerging rapper, with songs that highlight his ambition, lyrical awareness, and readiness to claim his place among Nigeria’s young talents. In Champion Sound, one of the standout tracks, he declares, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton to champion,” signalling a bold intent to carve his own path in the industry.

Champion’s Arrival serves as both an introduction and a statement of intent, blending youthful energy with a clear sense of self-belief. With this release, Boluwatife Balogun positions himself as one to watch a young artist eager to establish his sound and identity beyond his famous lineage.
