Shot in Lagos, the video brings back the visual and rhythmic energy once synonymous with early Fuji productions the bustling crowds, expressive dancing, and cultural vibrance that captured the essence of Yoruba street life and celebration.

The video includes appearances from Fuji legends Yinka Ayefele and Adewale Ayuba, the latter contributing a fresh verse to the track. Reality TV personality Imisi and Adekunle Gold’s look-alike Mensan also make appearances, blending nostalgia with a sense of renewed artistry.

“Many People” is the eighth track from Adekunle Gold’s fifth studio album, “Fuji”, a project that pays tribute to traditional Yoruba music forms such as Apala, Fuji, and Tungba while reimagining them for a modern audience. The album explores storytelling through rhythm, percussion, and lyrical depth a deliberate shift that underscores Adekunle Gold’s evolution as an artist unafraid to experiment while staying connected to his cultural roots.

With over a decade in the industry since his breakout single “Sade,” Adekunle Gold continues to cement his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most versatile acts, bridging traditional and contemporary genres seamlessly.
