The Healing Man Project Launches “Everything Not Said” Campaign to Give Men a Voice
The Healing Man Project, an initiative of The Healing Man Foundation, is launching “Everything Not Said,” a storytelling and awareness campaign designed to create a safe space for men to speak openly about emotions, personal experiences, struggles and pain that often remain unspoken.
The campaign seeks to challenge the long-standing social expectations that encourage men to suppress their emotions and silently carry their burdens.
Through the central question, “Why Do Men Hide Their Pain?”, Everything Not Said invites men to reflect on what they were taught about emotions, what they have experienced, and the things they have never felt able to say.
“Many men have been conditioned to believe that vulnerability is weakness and that strength means keeping everything inside,” said Chioma Geraldine Ikechukwu, Founder of The Healing Man Project. “We want to create a space where men can speak without fear of judgment, where their experiences can be heard, and where they can realise that they are not alone.”
The initiative recognises that behind the roles men are expected to play—as providers, fathers, partners, leaders, friends and professionals—there are often personal struggles that remain invisible.
Everything Not Said aims to bring those stories into the open through personal testimonies and conversations that encourage empathy, understanding and emotional wellbeing.

Participants are invited to share their experiences by answering questions such as:
- What were you taught about emotions growing up?
- What experiences shaped the way you express your feelings?
- What pain have you carried in silence?
- What is something you have never been able to say?
- At what point did you realize that you are a man?
Stories may be submitted anonymously for individuals who prefer to protect their identity.
The Healing Man Project believes that giving people the opportunity to speak can be an important step toward breaking the culture of silence surrounding men’s emotional experiences.
“Your voice could help someone feel less alone.”
The organisation is therefore calling on men and the wider public to participate in the conversation, share their experiences and help create a culture where men are encouraged not only to be strong, but also to be honest about what they feel.
Everything Not Said. Because some stories deserve to be heard.
