Tacha Sets Two New Guinness World Records for Cosmetic Makeovers
Nigerian media personality and entrepreneur Anita Natacha Akide aka Tacha has officially secured two new Guinness World Records in the cosmetic makeover category, according to an update published by Guinness World Records.
The organisation confirmed that Tacha achieved:
- Most cosmetic makeovers in 24 hours (individual) — 144 makeovers
- Most cosmetic makeovers in 8 hours (individual) — 82 makeovers
Her 24-hour total surpasses the previous record by more than 30 people.
Each makeover was required to meet strict guidelines, including the application of foundation, concealer, blush, two eyeshadows, mascara, lip liner and gloss, finishing powder, and shaped eyebrows. All transformations were completed within the timeframe and verified under standard Guinness World Records procedures.
The dual achievement places Tacha among the few African entertainers to secure multiple Guinness titles in a single event, drawing significant attention across the Nigerian beauty and entertainment industry.
