Ibrahim Magu Suspended As EFCC Chairman

Ibrahim Magu, the embattled Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been suspended.

A BBC Hausa journalist Aliyu Tanko on Twitter confirmed on Tuesday, that the Nigerian Presidency has suspended Magu from leading the anti-corruption agency.

Breaking – Sources have confirmed to @bbchausa that Ibrahim Magu has been suspended as the acting EFCC boss.

Magu’s suspension comes only hours after he was arrested from EFCC office and questioned by a Presidential Panel for 6hours.
