Don Jazzy Unveils New Mavin Artist, Cupid, as He Debuts With ‘Myth Era’ EP
Mavin Records has officially introduced its newest signing, Cupid, marking the label’s latest expansion as it continues to position emerging talent on the mainstream stage.
The announcement was made by Don Jazzy, who shared the backstory of how the young artist gradually came into the Mavin system.
According to Don Jazzy, Cupid first came to his attention four years ago when the singer’s father sent a direct message asking the record executive to listen to his son’s music. The message went unnoticed at the time, but Cupid kept working on his craft and eventually crossed paths with the Mavin team two years later.
He was admitted into the Mavin Academy, where he completed the internal development process before being introduced publicly as the label’s latest act. Now 21 years old, Cupid begins his professional journey with the release of his debut project titled Myth Era.
The EP arrives as Mavin Records continues its tradition of developing young artists through structured training, long-term grooming, and strategic rollout. Cupid’s unveiling adds to the label’s growing roster of performers who have emerged from the academy system in recent years.
