Ghanaian genre-defying artist Elsie Raad has officially released her debut project “LDL(H)A”, a deeply introspective and sonically ambitious body of work inspired by the phrase “Love Don’t Live (Here) Anymore.”
The title’s parenthetical “(Here)” holds symbolic weight — a quiet question about where love once lived and what remains after it’s gone. Across the project, Elsie turns that idea into an emotional blueprint, exploring heartbreak, sensuality, rediscovery, and self-affirmation with unflinching honesty.
“I wanted the project to feel like a house,” Elsie explains. “Love left, but I didn’t. So, I had to learn to live in that space with my joy, my pain, my strength. Each track represents another room, another feeling.”
Blending Alternative, Afro, Highlife, Dancehall, R&B, Folk, and Rap, LDL(H)A defies categorisation. It’s not just an album but an immersive statement — a reflection of freedom, identity, and emotional evolution.
The project follows the success of its lead singles, “Run” and “6FigureDebby,” which offered listeners two contrasting sides of Elsie’s artistry: raw vulnerability and bold self-assurance. Together, they laid the foundation for an album that balances introspection with rhythm and resolve.
