Burna Boy Assembles Global Sounds on ‘No Sign of Weakness’

Burna Boy’s eighth studio album No Sign of Weakness has arrived. The 16-track offering sees the Nigerian superstar teaming up with a small but powerful mix of global collaborators including Stromae, Travis Scott, Mick Jagger, and Shaboozey.

The release follows the success of I Told Them, his 2023 project which earned him four Grammy nominations at the 2024 ceremony. Singles like City Boys and Sittin’ on Top of the World with 21 Savage gained traction internationally, while Higher secured a nomination for Best African Music Performance. Still, No Sign of Weakness marks a new phase in Burna Boy’s evolution.

Clocking in at just under 48 minutes, the album pulls from a range of genres: Afrobeats, hip-hop, soul, and even rock. Standout tracks include TaTaTa with Travis Scott, the introspective Change Your Mind featuring Shaboozey, and Bundle by Bundle, which set the tone for the album’s rollout. Elsewhere, Sweet Love leans romantic, while Update carries forward his signature blend of reflective writing and rhythmic flair.
