Netflix Renews Rapman’s Hit Series ‘Supacell’ for Season 2
Netflix has announced the renewal of its hit series “Supacell” for a second season. The show, directed by Rapman (Andrew Onwubolu), received widespread acclaim after its first season premiered on the streaming platform in July 2024.
“Supacell” tells the story of five Black South Londoners who unexpectedly find themselves entangled in a dangerous conspiracy that puts their lives, and the lives of those around them, at risk. Endowed with supernatural abilities, the group must come together to navigate their new powers and protect those in need.
The series features a strong lineup of British-Nigerian actors, including Adelayo Adedayo, Michael Salami, Tosin Cole, Rayxia Ojo, Josh Tedeku, Calvin Demba, Eddie Marsan, Ky-mani Carty, Nadine Mills, and Eric Kofi-Abrefa.
