Uti Nwachukwu Questions the Concept of Hell in New Video, Calls It a Tool for Control

Actor and television personality Uti Nwachukwu has sparked wide discussion on social media following a video where he shared his perspective on the idea of hell and why he stopped believing in it over a decade ago.

In the video, Uti described the notion of hell as a “religious tactic to control people,” stating that it conflicts with the Biblical portrayal of God as love. “If God is love and love keeps no record of wrongs, then who’s keeping the record for Judgement Day?” he asked.

He went on to argue that it would be inconsistent for a loving Creator to form human beings with the foreknowledge that some would end up “burning in eternity,” calling the idea “narcissistic and fear-based.”

Uti added that his views are not rooted in disbelief but in a personal re-examination of faith and spirituality. He stated that he believes more in karma ‘the principle of cause and effect’ than in eternal punishment, encouraging people to seek an independent understanding of what they believe to be divine truth.

The video has since generated varied reactions, with viewers debating the theological and philosophical implications of his comments across different online platforms.
