Bizzle Osikoya Addresses Couples Who Beg for Wedding Funds

Talent manager Bizzle Osikoya recently took to social media to offer advice to couples planning to get married.

Sharing his thoughts on X (formerly known as Twitter), Osikoya had strong words for those who seek financial assistance to fund their weddings.

In his post, Osikoya wrote: “If you don’t have money to do wedding, it’s not by force. Just do registry and bounce. Stop disturbing people for money to do wedding.”

His statement emphasised that weddings should not be a financial burden, especially if a couple lacks the resources to fund a lavish ceremony. According to Osikoya, opting for a simple registry wedding is a practical solution for couples on a budget, rather than soliciting funds from friends and family.

The talent manager’s post has sparked conversations online, with many users agreeing that it’s more important to focus on the marriage itself rather than spending beyond one’s means for a one-day event.

But he didn’t stop there—Bizzle went on to call out the common practice of selling overpriced aso-ebi, saying, “Aso-ebi is a f***ing scam. Y’all making me buy 10 yards for 200k when you know the material no pass 50k for 10 yards.”

Osikoya, known for his work in the entertainment industry, often shares candid opinions on trending social issues. His latest post has become a talking point, especially in a society where extravagant weddings are often seen as a status symbol.

This perspective challenges the traditional mindset, encouraging couples to prioritise financial stability over societal expectations. With wedding costs rising, Osikoya’s message resonates with those who believe that love and commitment do not require grand celebrations.

Would you opt for a low-key wedding, or do you think the ceremony is worth the splurge? Share your thoughts!
