The Awards  Hosts: Ik Osakioduwa and Zozibini Tunzi

1. Ik Osakioduwa 

IK Osakioduwa is a renowned Nigerian media personality, radio host, and television presenter. With years of experience under his belt, Ik has mastered the art of hosting and has become a fan favourite in the industry.

Beyond his hosting prowess, IK Osakioduwa has made notable forays into the film industry. In 2018, he made his acting debut in the movie “Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons,” sharing the screen with other popular Nigerian actors. This venture showcased his versatility and added another dimension to his multifaceted career.

IK first gained prominence as the co-host of the highly acclaimed reality TV show “Big Brother Africa” (BBAfrica). His memorable appearances on the program propelled him into the spotlight, earning him a place as a household name in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. 

He is the three-time host of Nigerian Idol and nine-time host of the AMVCA. Through his engaging presence and charismatic persona, IK Osakioduwa has endeared himself to a vast audience, further solidifying his status as a beloved figure in Nigerian media. 

2. Zozibini Tunzi

Joining Ik as the main host is Zozibini Tunzi. Tunzi made history as the first black woman from South Africa to be crowned Miss Universe in 2019.  Before her historic Miss Universe win, Tunzi held the title of Miss South Africa 2019. Beyond her beauty and poise, Tunzi is a powerful advocate for gender equality and inclusivity. Her presence on the AMVCA stage adds a touch of elegance and empowerment.

She is also an actress, making her acting debut in “The Woman King” in 2022 and has hosted several global events, including Miss South Africa.

Toke Makinwa is a Nigerian media personality, author, and businesswoman. 4. Uti Nwachukwu

Uti Nwachukwu is a Nigerian actor, TV presenter, and model. He rose to fame after winning the reality show “Big Brother Africa” in 2010. Nwachukwu’s success on “Big Brother Africa” followed a background in modeling, participating in fashion shows and competitions. He has also established himself as a talented actor, appearing in notable Nollywood movies and TV series such as “Bursting Out,” “Weekend Getaway,” and the popular drama series “Tinsel.” We can’t wait to see him bring his charming personality to the red carpet.

5. Sika Osei

Sika Osei is a Ghanaian actress, television presenter, and model. With her elegance and poise, she is a perfect fit for the red carpet. Sika co-hosted various TV shows and red carpet events, including DStv’s Studio 53 Extra, NdaniTV’s Fashion Insider, the 2019 VGMA red carpet experience, Channel O News Live in Accra, and Glitz Africa Fashion Week for Star Gist on DStv.

6. VJ Adams

VJ Adams, whose real name is Adams Ibrahim Adebola, is a Nigerian video jockey, television presenter, and media personality. Known for his vibrant personality and charismatic on-screen presence, VJ Adams brings youthful energy and charm to the red carpet. His infectious enthusiasm and ability to create spontaneous moments make him a dynamic addition to the hosting lineup.

VJ Adams gained prominence after participating in the 2008 edition of Next Movie Star West Africa. He co-hosted the official red carpet at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards alongside Nollywood actress Alex Okoroji and the 2014 edition of the City People Entertainment Awards ceremony held in Lagos.
