If You're Bleeding From A Miscarriage, Go To The Hospital”...Toolz Counters Pastor Faith Oyedepo

On Monday, Pastor Faith Oyedepo, the wife of the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, shared a testimony about how she saw blood flowing from her when she was pregnant with her first son.

She told her husband that she had a miscarriage, but Bishop David Oyedepo, in his reaction, said, “You can’t have a miscarriage!” and asked to be served his meal. According to Pastor Faith, her husband’s statement “activated the spirit of faith, and the pregnancy was sustained.”

While this testimony has sparked conversations on social media, one voice that has spoken out against it is On-Air Personality, Toolz Oniru. On Tuesday, she took to Twitter to express her disagreement, saying that a pregnant woman bleeding from a possible miscarriage should be taken to a hospital, and not asked to prepare a meal. She added, “Last thing you should be doing is making food for anyone.”

Toolz’s response is not surprising, as she is known for being vocal about issues that affect women’s health. Her statement also highlights the importance of seeking medical attention in such situations, as it could be a matter of life and death for both the mother and the unborn child.

It is important to note that faith and medical attention are not mutually exclusive. While faith can be a source of strength and comfort in difficult situations, it is also important to seek medical attention when necessary. Ignoring medical advice or neglecting medical attention in the name of faith can lead to dire consequences.
