Trevor Noah Returns To Host The 2023 GRAMMYs On February 5

Trevor Noah is set to bring his formidable, Emmy-winning talents back to host the 2023 GRAMMYs, which take place Sunday, February 5, and will broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ at 8-11:30 p.m. ET/5-8:30 p.m. PT from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Noah, who recently left his post as host of “The Daily Show,” has graced the GRAMMYs stage as master of ceremonies back in 2021 and 2022. This year marks his third consecutive year hosting the GRAMMYs; he will also serve as a producer on the show.

“I’m enjoying the fact that we’re juggling flaming swords,” Noah told Billboard of his experience hosting the GRAMMYs. “Just putting it all together, combining different genres, getting the musicians in sync with each other and the audience, keeping the audience in tune with what’s happening. One of my favorite things about the GRAMMYs as a whole is it is one of the few places where you get to experience artists in their rawest element, which is performing their music live … there’s nothing like it. You develop a deep appreciation for what these people are doing beyond just the music that they make.”

The nominees for the 65th annual Grammy Awards were announced on Tuesday (November 15).

Ghanaian afro-roots and reggae artiste Rocky Dawuni secured his third nomination in five years after being shortlisted for his song “Neva Bow Down,” featuring Blvk H3ro, in the category of “Best Global Music Performance.”

He faces competition from Burna Boy (Last Last), Matt B and Eddy Kenzo (Gimme Love), Arooj Aftab and Anoushka Shankar (Udhero Na), and Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode (Bayethe).
