President Buhari Masks Up In Public For The First Time In Mali
President Muhammadu Buhari wore a face mask on Thursday morning July 23 for the first time in public since the Coronavirus pandemic started as he arrived in Bamako, Mali, his first trip out of the country in five months for ECOWAS peace mission.
The president and some ECOWAS leaders had agreed to meet in Mali for further consultations in order to find a political solution to the crisis in the country.
Presidents from five West African countries arrive in Mali on Thursday to try to negotiate an end to a political crisis that has rocked the country and raised fears it could undermine a regional fight against Islamist militants.
