Mr Eazi Pulls African Creative Dotun (The Welder)
Global Afrobeats star and entrepreneur Mr Eazi once again placed African creativity at the centre of culture by collaborating with renowned Nigerian fabricator and visual artist Dotun (The Welder) for the stage installation at the just-ended Detty Rave concert in Accra.
Known for transforming raw metal into striking architectural art, Dotun (The Welder) brought his signature industrial-meets-cultural aesthetic to life, delivering a stage design that stood out as one of the most talked-about elements of the night.

The installation blended steel structures, bold African motifs and immersive lighting, creating a visual experience that elevated the Detty Rave beyond a typical concert setup.
The collaboration reflects Mr Eazi’s long-standing commitment to spotlighting African creatives across industries, from music and fashion to design and visual arts. By entrusting the Detty Rave stage to Dotun, Mr Eazi reinforced the idea that African concerts can be powered by homegrown talent capable of competing on a global scale.

For Dotun (The Welder), the Detty Rave stage marked another milestone in a career that has seen him work on high-profile art installations across Africa and beyond.
