Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Passes Away at 52
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has passed away at the age of 52. According to reports, he died in a London hospital due to an undisclosed ailment.
Ubah was a successful businessman and founder of Capital Oil before venturing into politics. He was first elected to the Senate in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 under the Young Progressives Party (YPP) before defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The late senator suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away in London, according to family sources. His family, including his wife, has begun mourning his loss.
Ubah served as the CEO of Capital Oil and was a member of the Nigerian Senate until his death.
