Joe Biden Drops Out Of 2024 Presidential Race
President Joe Biden has announced that he will not seek reelection, following mounting pressure after a challenging debate performance last month.
This decision has prompted questions within his party regarding his continued candidacy.
Biden stated that he will complete the remainder of his current term. In a letter posted on his X account, Biden explained his decision: “And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”
Biden also mentioned that he would address the nation later this week to provide more details about his decision.
