PDP Picks Funke Akindele For Lagos Deputy Governorship
Popular actress Funke Akindele has been announced as Dr. Olajide Adediran’s running mate for the People’s Democratic Party in Lagos State.
The Nollywood actress who is from Ikorodu in Lagos was revealed by Jandor in a sponsored advertisement on Tuesday.
The actress in her speech announced that she would work tirelessly for the party and Lagos’s revitalization.
Funke was chosen as Jandor’s running mate after defeating Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, former Lagos East senator Yeye Shobajo, David Kolawole Vaughan aka Dakova, and Teslim Balogun.
