Ghanaian Filmmakers, Yemoh Ike & Amartei Amai Talk About Their Cannes Nominated Film ‘Tsutsue’ In New Podcast

Ghanaian Filmmaker and Talent manager Yemoh Ike & Director Amartei Armar spoke on their accomplishments and experience working on their Cannes Film Festival nominated short movie – TSUTSUÈ on Ytainment Podcast with Ghana-based Nigerian Media Personality, Yemmey Baba.

The duo made history when Tsutsué became the first film from Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa ever to qualify for the Official Short Film Competition at Cannes.

Tsutsué was shot in Ghana by an all Ghanaian crew, while the film’s post-production was carried out in France.

In the words of Yemmey Baba:

“For a production from Ghana which is competing alongside eight other movies worldwide out of the 3,507 entries that were submitted; a standing ovation to the two young men won’t be enough- albeit, our ‘Ayekooooo!’ should, would spur them to go and win the award from this year’s Festival de Cannes, in France.”
