“She posted the beautiful pictures above and went down memory lane recalling an important and life-defining milestone birthday over a decade ago.

A little over a decade ago,I celebrated an important and life-defining milestone on my birthday.
As time went by,that singular event sought to snuff out the very life I had in me.
It led me me to a dark hole that felt like i was free-falling in a bottomless pit.
The kind of place that numbs and silences you.
The kind of place that amplifies those lying voices.
Every day.
The ones that tell you ‘That’s it.There’s nothing worth living for’.
As the years went by,celebrating my birthday on February 28th served as a haunting reminder of something that I was trying so hard to forget.

This post is dedicated to anyone who has ever suffered a trauma so deep that
words cannot express; who has resigned themselves to live a dull and colourless life; who has tried to hide in the shadows of fear,doubt and pain.

I believe that The Lord swooped in on the wings of grace by snatching me out of that vortex that was trying to suck out the very essence of all that heaven had deposited in me.
Have there been scars?
Yes.But I stand triumphant as His star.💥 He also sent me human angeloids to remind me of who I am in HIM and who love me without any apology.I thank them all today.🙏
So, I wrote this post to encourage you.
Yes,you!

Be intentional about your healing process.
Celebrate yourself every day as you are reminded of your true worth and value.
Hang on to His promises like an anchor for your soul.
Hold on to those that affirm you.
Create beautiful memories.
Let the voice of The Lord be the loudest voice in your ears.

Then,LIVE!
Live…inspite of.
Live..regardless.
Live…’cos there is more in store.
Live…’cos there’s some colour to splash
Live..’cos there’s a song coming out of that storm
Live…’cos there’s an end at every bend
Live…’cos someone’s life is dependent on you.
