Asisat Oshoala Meets NBA Superstars Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo
In an exciting encounter, Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala met with basketball phenoms Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo, both stars of the Milwaukee Bucks in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Born in Athens, Greece, to Nigerian parents, the Antetokounmpo brothers have taken the basketball world by storm.
Asisat Oshoala, who plays for Bay FC in the US, was thrilled to meet the towering brothers and shared photos of their encounter on Instagram. Joking about their impressive height, she quipped, “I promise y’all….I AM NOT SHORT.”
Thanasis, the older brother of Giannis, Kostas, and Alex Antetokounmpo won an NBA championship with the Bucks in 2021.
Giannis, a two-time NBA MVP, has made history as one of the most decorated players in NBA history, winning consecutive MVP awards in 2019 and 2020. He also claimed the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award in 2020, joining an elite group of players who have achieved this feat.
