Content Creator Broda Shaggi Says He Makes Over $40,000 A Month 

Popular Nigerian comedian Broda Shaggi, whose real name is Samuel Animashaun Perry, recently revealed that he makes over N20 million ($40,000) a month from creating content.

The revelation came during a conversation with Ehiz on his Dada Boy show.

During the interview, Ehiz asked, “In six months, how much do you make on YouTube in dollars?” Let’s say you make $40,000 per month. Is that higher or lower? $80,000, higher or lower?”

According to Shaggi, he earns more than $ 20,000,000 ($40K) per month, but less than $ 40,000,000 ($80K).

Broda Shaggi has a massive social media following, with 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube and over 11 million followers on Instagram. He attributes his success to his consistency and the amount of content he produces.

Broda Shaggi says content creators can make a lot of money if they are consistent and produce a lot of content. He also mentioned that working as brand ambassadors is another way for content creators to earn money.

I try my best. It’s numbers for you to make money. As a skit maker, it’s numbers and you have to be consistent. Consistency is essential,” he said.

Shaggi continued, “You have to be consistent always because then, you’ll have more content. And more content means more money. That’s if you’re on YouTube and you grow your platform well. And asides from YouTube, there are brands that want to penetrate your brand to work with you. And all they look for are numbers. You know, like how many views, who’s watching, what’s the comment like, what’s the reach; you know. That’s where the money comes in.”

When working with brands, Broda Shaggi suggests that brands typically consider high numbers, views, comments, and reach when choosing influencers to work with. This means that content creators with a large following and high engagement rates are more likely to be chosen by brands and earn more money.
