Camidoh Drops “SUGARCANE” Remix FT King Promise, Mayorkun And Darkoo

Nearly five months after publishing the original version, which featured Nigerian record producer Phantom, the sensational musician has released the official remix, with Mayorkun, Darkoo, and King Promise guest artistes.

Camidoh first announced the remix in February. Though he did not confirm the track’s official release date, fans speculated that it would arrive in the spring after footage of the remix’s studio session began circulating in early February. Camidoh appeared alongside King Promise in behind-the-scenes footage.

The original record has currently surpassed 30 million total plays across the major music streaming and discovery platforms.

This came after the record had made waves across the world: it peaked at No. 5 on the Shazam Global Afrobeats chart, No. 1 on the Top 100 Ghana on Apple Music, No. 1 on the Top 25 Accra on Apple Music, and No. 55 on the Daily Viral Songs Nieria on Spotify. It has also charted at No. 1 on notable local radio chart shows across the country. Its video has surpassed 1.2 million views on YouTube.
