#BreakTheBias: Happy International Women’s Day!

Happy International Women’s Day to all the strong and fierce women out there!
Gloria Steinem once said,

“The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization, but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.” More recently, Malala Yousafzai said, “I raise my voice not so I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard. We cannot succeed when half of us are held back.”

Break the Bias is this year’s theme, and whether deliberate or unconscious, bias creates barriers for women. Being aware that bias exists isn’t sufficient – we all need to take action.
