Mercy Aigbe Stirs Controversy With Photos of her New 'Husband' Adekaz

Mercy Aigbe is in the news again. The Nollywood actress who unveiled the identity of her ‘man’ Kazim Adeoti on her social media page has been bombarded by mixed comments from fans and followers.

She posted the first picture on Instagram with the caption:

It’s my Boo’s birthday in a bit 🎊🎉💃

While some are congratulating Aigbe who in recent times adopted a new alias, ‘Aya D Owner’ which translates to ‘wife of the owner’ on her alleged marriage to the movie marketer and Chairman of Ibaka TV, others are ‘dragging’ and tagging her a husband snatcher.

An article by CityScoop claims that the actress had a private Nikkah on the 31st of December 2021 with Kazim Adesoji Adeoti popularly known as Adekaz. This explains why she now refers to herself by the Muslim name Minnah.

A Nikkah is one of the stages of a marriage in Islam and is a contract between a Husband and Wife.

However, controversial blog Gistlover posted a photo of Mercy Aigbe and her now ex-husband with Adekaz and his wife in one frame and this has got tongues wagging. The blog accused Adekaz of abandoning his wife and kids in America to take his dalliance with Mercy which purportedly started while Aigbe was still married to Lanre Gentry to a permanent level.

Aigbe’s ex-husband, Lanre Gentry also made a post with the photo and captioned it :

In addition, CityScoop reported that on the 1st January 2022, Adekaz attended her soiree at her house in Lagos where she welcomed friends and family to her house and acted in his capacity as a husband would.

It however appears the mum-of-two is undaunted by the negative comments as she continues to post pictures of herself and her ‘boo’ in the run-up to his birthday on January 24th.
