Triller Takes Top Spot In App Store After Trump’s Threat To Ban TikTok In The US
Donald Trump’s call for a ban on video-sharing app TikTok last week may bode well for Triller.
Microsoft confirmed it is continuing discussions on potential TikTok purchase in the United States.
Some former TikTok influencers have now ported to Triller and reports have it that Triller has now taken the top spot in the iOS App Store.
App analytics firm Apptopia crunched the numbers and found U.S. downloads of Triller went from 5,675 on July 26 to 61,924 on Aug. 2.
That’s an increase of nearly 11 times.
