Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong is a year older today and the actor cum director who posted a couple of pictures to mark the day, has got a lot to say.

He went poetic with this caption:

I’ve been around the sun and back, best believe when I say it has been one heck of a ride. I’ve been struck by lightening twice on the same spot, danced with fairies on the rays of the first light and drank of Eden’s dew… got not just t-shirts but fond memories, post cards, bruises and scars.

Yes it all pales in comparison to what’s ahead. I’ve been chosen to go again but this time with wind in my sail and wings on my back. I’ve got a message… a calling… I’ve been to the mountain top and I’ve heard the voice saying “This is my beloved son, listen to him” so here we go again 🛫🛫🛫

….and revealed what he feels like on his birthdays with this but ended it with some of the most important things in life; love, light and laughter:

My birthdays always find me broody, contemplating the past year and thinking about the years to come. Literally stunned by how much grace I enjoy. I’ve never been able to fully understand why he loves me so hard. But I pretend like it’s the norm, I dress nice and step out full of confidence like I’ve got it all figured out. But I don’t. I’m really still that little boy in awe of his amazing grace. Thank you Jesus for another year. Love, light & laughter 😍🔥😂
