Nigerian comedienne Anita Alaire Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, recently celebrated the first anniversary of her transformative weight loss journey.
In a social media post, she shared videos documenting her progress and the challenges she faced along the way.
The videos showcased her initial struggles with exercise, often accompanied by her supportive husband. In a particular clip, Real Warri Pikin is seen receiving medical treatment in a hospital bed. She revealed that she had collapsed at an event due to depression, which served as a wake-up call to prioritize her health.
Reflecting on her journey, she shared that a year ago, she weighed 130 kg and was battling a life-threatening illness that forced her to cancel several engagements. Today, she proudly stands at 83 kg and is enjoying a much healthier life.
In her caption, Real Warri Pikin expressed immense gratitude to God and everyone who supported her throughout her journey. She candidly revealed that she underwent gastric sleeve surgery and extended a special thanks to those who criticized her weight, as their comments fueled her determination.
