Cuppy Otedola Meets King Charles III at Buckingham Palace At The Prince’s Trust Awards
The prestigious Prince’s Trust Awards recently took place at Buckingham Palace in London, honouring exceptional young individuals who have triumphed over adversity and positively impacted their communities.
Among the esteemed guests and celebrity ambassadors in attendance was Cuppy Otedola, a talented DJ, singer, and philanthropist who serves as a King’s Trust international ambassador.
This year’s award winners included remarkable young people who have overcome challenges such as mental health struggles, educational difficulties, and youth unemployment with the support of the Trust.
One notable recipient was 27-year-old Nigerian Ridwan, who received the Global Sustainability Award for his innovative work in designing and delivering solar energy systems, particularly in off-grid rural areas. Cuppy Otedola presented the award to Ridwan, recognizing his groundbreaking contributions to sustainability.
In a beautiful moment captured on camera, Cuppy shared a laugh with King Charles III, as seen in a photo shared by her father, Femi Otedola. “Our @CuppyMusic is going places! His Majesty King Charles III invited Ms Cuppy to Buckingham Palace, and she represented us brilliantly,” he wrote, beaming with pride. “Congratulations on your new role as a King’s Trust International Ambassador.”
Congratulations Cuppy Otedola!
