Tiwa Savage To Receive Honorary Doctorate From Her Alma Mater, The University Of Kent

This month, Tiwa Savage will be among ten inspirational individuals awarded honorary degrees during congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals, according to the University of Kent.

As part of her recognition of her inspirational and international career in music, Tiwa Savage will receive a doctorate in music on July 15th in Canterbury.

Another Nigerian. Professor Funke Abimbola, MBE, an experienced diversity, inclusion, healthcare executive, and corporate lawyer, will also receive a doctorate of law at Canterbury on the 14th of July in recognition of her distinguished career as a solicitor and her extensive voluntary work as a mentor and campaigner.
