Ruggedman is back with some thought-provoking music featuring Praiz and other talented musicians and we love it! Oftentimes, there is music (or entertainment of any type) that is disposable – the equivalent of junk food. On the other hand, there is the stuff that is art, this is the stuff that matters, the stuff that makes you change your perspective shifts gravity’s pull provokes discussion, and leads to changes.

The 6 track ‘The Situation-EP’ is as real as it gets. It rips out your heart and forces you to sit with the heartbreak, pain, blood, hunger, betrayal, and suffering of the Nigerian people. It raises the bar on the power musicians have to reflect on our world and issues- forcing us to choose between complacency or action.

Emotional, painful, raw, challenging, and confronting….each song has its story.
